UNDERSTAND THE DECISION

A hair transplant moves hair from the back and sides of your head to areas that have thinned. It can work well for the right person. It is also a surgery, it costs a significant amount, and it does not stop hair loss in the areas that weren't treated. Before you book a surgical consultation, it helps to know whether you are a good candidate and what else is possible.

Restore does not perform hair transplants. We help you decide whether a transplant makes sense, refer you to a transplant surgeon when it does, and look after your scalp before and after the procedure.

CANDIDACY

Who tends to be a good candidate

01

Hair loss that has been stable for a while, rather than actively shedding

02

Enough healthy donor hair at the back and sides of the head

03

A healthy scalp without active inflammation or infection

04

Realistic expectations about density and the need for ongoing care of the hair you keep

YOUR PATH FORWARD

How it works

Assess.

In a Hair & Scalp Analysis we look at your pattern of loss, donor area and scalp health, and whether active shedding needs to settle first.

Explain your options.

Some people are better served by non-surgical care first, or instead of surgery. We go through what each option can and cannot do.

Refer.

If a transplant is the better fit, we refer you to a transplant surgeon we trust.

Support.

We help prepare your scalp beforehand and support scalp care while you heal.
