Built to work virtually — not adapted as an afterthought
In clinic we use magnified scalp imaging. Remotely, we guide you through standardized image capture on the telehealth platform and measure the same categories of visible pattern. Blood work is completed near you. The hair sample is mailed in the kit we send. Your findings review happens face to face on screen, with a specialist — not a report emailed to you to puzzle over alone.
One thing to check before any blood test including ours
Biotin is the headline ingredient in nearly every hair, skin and nail supplement on the shelf. It also interferes with the immunoassays laboratories use to measure thyroid function.
In a published case, a patient taking high-dose biotin returned thyroid results that read as an overactive thyroid. One week after stopping the supplement, the same patient measured entirely normal — TSH 2.00, free T4 1.3 ng/dL. Nothing had changed except the biotin.
It is not only that most people are never tested.
Some of the people who are tested are tested while taking the one supplement most likely to distort the result — and nobody thinks to ask.

Your information goes through a coordinated review: specialist-led scalp assessment, Nurse Practitioner interpretation of the internal markers, and laboratory analysis of the hair sample. Then someone sits down with you for 45 minutes and explains all of it in plain language, with your questions answered as they come up.
